Muir Trail Ranch -- Rates for groups staying for a week

Group, week-long stay

Please contact us for information about what weeks are available to add onto for 2022.

The basic rate pays for up to 20 people, regardless of their ages. By “20 to 25+” we are saying you can have 25 adults and some children, for a group size that exceeds 25, our nominal maximum. Groups of 30 are not uncommon, especially when the group is having a family reunion and there are lots of kids and grandkids.

If you have more than the minimum number of 20, you can use the lowest rates for the additional people. You can count all the adults as part of the group of 20, so the additions to your group are charged the lower child rates.

Meals are not included in the above rates. Currently caterers we can recommend are charging around $85-$150 per person per day. Contact us for a list of available caterers. You can discuss menus and rates with them.

Other charges
You will need to purchase round-trip tickets if you want to take the ferry, available separately from us at the Florence Lake Store. If you wish to ride during your stay, horse use is extra; please see the Horses rates page.

Reserving your space
To reserve your week, you (the entire group) need to send a non-refundable half down deposit when you make your reservation which covers the reservation for the entire group. Making this payment is the responsibility of the group leader. This will hold your week. The balance is due 30 days before your arrival at the ranch.

As an individual you may either pay the group leader for your deposits, or he/she can have you handle your own payment separately. If you want to, you can make payment by credit card over the Internet, or send a check or money order to the ranch at the address shown below. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover both on the Internet and at the ranch.
